Eighty fifth double

 I was very determined to enjoy a great workout! Had to do a double.What a relaxing feeling when you know instead of having time to do a one hour workout you actually have time to do a two hour workout. Time is indeed your friend when you are enjoying it.

Day 1889 we have traveled so far. Haven't we?


I returned to the daily toil and moved about 20,000 pounds of freight.I felt good after a nice shower and sat down, ate and relaxed and went to bed.
I thought about my question I asked yesterday.

Do you agree with this thought, stress is a result of resistance and resistance causes friction and friction causes wear and wear causes ones nerves to flare up and flared up nerves causes the body to tense up and fight back and before you realize it there is a battle going in your body fighting this imaginary foe.
Why the stress? Why the friction? I believe it is because we all do not truly believe the life we truly believe we should live. No way, you say. Then, show me the person who can honestly say that they have no stress that can cause any friction?
I caught myself asking the question. Why stress just work and relax.Worry only happens when you do not work on what you are worried about.

Tai chi is awesome. I need to be better at it.

Day 1882 Thank God for quick recoveries

Out of the daily toil early but,out of the frying pan and into the fire.

After a grueling 14 hours and 40 minutes I feel revitalized.Getting a crown put on a tooth is no walk in the park or one hour of cardio for that matter.
As we know a few days ago April 15,2013 at 340 pm a series of bombs were set off at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. My emotions run high and my heart aches for the pain and suffering for the individuals that were injured.

Day 1878 Philosophically thinking and speaking

 As the world will never be the same. Yale beats Quinnipiac 4-0 and wins the 2012-2013 college hockey national championship!

Eighty fourth double=1962 one hour workouts
As I left the house and headed to the gym I felt a delicious desire to do a two hour hard cardiovascular workout. My toe felt a lot better than it has all week and my determination was on the rise as each minute passed as I got closer to starting my workout.
I burned 2304 calories in the first hours a good heading into the second hour. I love it when I  know I am going to complete a good 2 hour workout.
I burned a total of 4492 calories in 120 minutes.
As I felt awesome and refreshed.

Day 1866 Time marches on!

There are no standards and no possible victories except the joy you are living while dancing your run. You are not running for some future reward-the real reward is now!

How true is that? I used to run when I was 25 years younger. I didn't realize how amazing it was because I did not take as seriously as I take my daily hour of hard cardio. When I ran I was running 4 to five times a week and I averaged about a 5 mile run each time. It took me about 35 to 45 minutes to complete the run. However, I really did not pay that much attention to it. I was playing basketball and playing on three softball teams.

Bottom line, I was active. Compare to today maybe a little more active. I was no where near as committed to my activities. 


After did my workout today I fasted and got a physical. My appointment was at 8 am. I took the entire day off. Had I known I would be done at 915 am I would not have requested the entire day off. I thought the process was going to take until at least 1 PM.
