Day 1559 Today we do a good hour and some good sets of exercises!

Today, I did a 2258 calorie burn in 60. With 40 100 pound assisted chin ups, 5 minutes on plank and 220 killers,330 crunches and 430 q's with 800 floor crunches. I weighed in at 183. It was like a day at the beach. I feel so good.

I feel on balance. The last few days since Saturday I was like a cyclone having done 8 hours of cardio in ninety six hours. Today I felt just right.

I am now at 48 doubles. Which averages out to a double every 32.5 days. But in the last 365,  I probably average a double every 20 days.

Day 1558 Let's have a great workout!

I don't know what got into me? I just felt a strong desire to do a double. My third double in four days.I usually do not do a double because I do a lot at the daily toil. But, I went to bed thinking about getting out early and doing a 2 hour workout. I burned 4479 calories before 645 am. Then I stretched and went home.Weighed in at 180.

Day 1559 Today we do a good hour and some good sets of exercises!

Day 1557 we are doing our 6TH hour of cardio in the last 48 hours.

We will post again at lunch! As we now head to the gym!

It's is lunch time. It is hot outside. I did a good cardio about  eight hours ago. I started at 640 am and finished at 740 am then I stretched and hustled in a shower and left my house and  arrived at work at 845 am.I weighed in at 182. By  the gym opening so late and my work schedule I had a very short workout. Certainly short compare my three hours and thirty minutes yesterday and 2 hours and forty five minutes Saturday.

I feel great and am definitely looking forward to working out tomorrow.

Day 1556 The prospects of wearing less and doing a double look good.

I am going for three! Happy Day off and above all, Happy Memorial Day!

It was done 180 minutes, most would have packed a lunch I just sweated and burned 6661 calories in 3 hours.Then did a light work out .Ah, a good 40 100 pound assisted chin ups 3 minutes of plank and 120 killers 270 crunches and 330 q's. 800 floor crunches. All in a days fun and labor I guess of love!Make  that 46 doubles and 1 triple or 47 doubles.

Day 1557 we are doing our 6TH hour of cardio in the last 48 hours.

Day 1555 We will do our 46Th double

DONE! Major sweat as I clearly over dressed.I did barely burn 4418.I staggered through a few exercises and am just now feeling totally refreshed. I go in at 420 pm and have clearly been enjoying the thought of some time off. I did do 35 88 pound assisted chin ups.Did a measly 2 minutes of plank. Did 200 killers,340 crunches and 430 q's with 800 floors and weighed in at 178.

Day 1554 We do press on!

Down at 11:20 pm up at 4:11 am.No factor as we beat yesterday by burning 2309! Did 30 76 pound assisted chin ups. Nine minutes of plank. As I have changed my order of exercises.I do the crunches last.I do killers, crunches, q's and floors in that order. I start with chin ups then go to the plank. I did 270 killers,340 crunches and 600 q's and finished with 800 floors.

Day 1555 we will do our 46TH double!

Day 1553 Keep on keeping on!

Not much in the way of sleep as I watched my beloved NY Rangers lose last night.So, less than 5  hours of sleep was in the recipe for burning 2286 and doing a eight minute plank with a 40 chin up effort. I did 110 killers 340 crunches and 240 q's and 500 floors.I weighed in at 182.

This has been a good challenging week as the weekend was a good battle. Beat yesterday as I did a repeat of Monday. I burned 2271 and did 40 84 pound assisted chin ups with 340 killers,450 crunches and 570 q's and 900 floors with 5 minutes of sweaty plank. Weighed  in at 182.

Day 1551 We are on the move!

I underestimated the humidity as I dressed way to warm. I burned only 2239 in sixty. Did 270 killers,330 crunches and 430 q's. Then 5 minutes of plank and 500 floors. Weighed in at 182. Feeling a little less tight than yesterday as I noticed it is taking me awhile to recover from my hard work outs over the last few days.Its all good, though.

Now we march on through with the rest of the day.

Day 1550 As we rise to the challenge!

It is okay to admit it.The legs were a little rubbery today.Stu Mittlemen has got nothing to worry about yet. Stu's the guy who ran 1000 miles in eleven days.

However since 646 am on Saturday I have done five hours and five minutes of hard cardiovascular workouts. That is about 5 in 48 hours. Burned 2271 in sixty today.Did 45 88 pound assisted chin ups. 330 killers, 430 crunches and 500 q's. 800 floors and 4 minute plank weighed in at 180.

Mission accomplished, A good 123 minutes, a sparkling 4630 calories burned. A solid 35 chin ups with 88 pounds of assistance. 200 killers and 330 crunches and 430 q's. *00 floors and 3 minutes of planks as I weigh in after mowing most of the back lawn at my lowest weight in quite a while 174. A day of challenging physically as we mow and then chill.

Day 1548 As we go for a double - our 44TH!

A day off.A reunion of sorts. A new razor blade since Easter Sunday. A break through in my  radio plans. Excellent weather. A haircut. Mowing the lawn.

Ah such plans! First, we hit the gym.
A spectacular day!

Let's see razor blade used,gym done, awesome three hour workout!Next, hair cut , lawn mowed. Now visit, then church after that a little chill down.

On the day of 137Th  Preakness and the day of a vital 3RD game of the semi finals in the NHL I did a double where I burned 4600 calories while wearing three layers of clothing in the room with no fans. I burned only about 38 calories per minute and was not totally pleased with my pace but it felt so-ooo awesome! I did 40 88 pound assisted chin ups. 360 killers,430 crunches and 610 q's. I did 6 minutes of plank and finished with 800 floor crunches.As we weigh in at 177.

Loving every minute of it. As I said to someone long ago on the subject of working out. You are in for pain either way, you are far better off to workout and deal with what ever pain that brings you than you are sitting around and eating and feeling the pain from lack of activity.If you don't believe me, denial is a river in Egypt!

Day 1547 Four years and three months and 26 days. On the 23RD of May we will be at 4 and 4!

Burning calories is awesome. Sweating like crazy while burning calories is double awesome. I burned 2280 with three heavy layers. Used only 76 pounds of assistance to do 30 chin ups. Did 360 killers,600 q's and 450 crunches. I did 8 minutes of plank and 800 floors. Weighed in at 181.

It has been a good challenge at the daily toil. We squeezed in a test at lunch time and made one more stride towards getting on air! We are given our opportunities in life and the usually flash by in an instant. Every now and then, if we are indeed lucky a great comes along and our challenge is like the passage in the bible says, " always be ready for we know not when the Lord will come."

Day 1546 The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout ...

He came out again. Through the grace of God go I. I beat yesterday as I burned 2303.Life has its challenges as my weight came in at 180. As the daily toil was just that.A fight tooth and nail. I did 30 76 pound chin ups. 360 killers,450 crunches 620 q's and 800 floors. Not very strong on the plank as I held the position for six minutes.

The attitude was good as the humidity has lifted. The forecast is clear and pleasant. We ready are self for an interesting time. As I focus in on getting more balance in my life.Mentally,physically, socially and spiritually.

Day 1545 We got 43 in we needed to be at 51 to average one a month.I love it!

So if I did 2 hours or more for 8 straight days I'd be at one a month over the last 1553 days. How about if I did two a week  next eight weeks where would I be?

Anyway. today seems pretty humid as I burned only 2259 wearing three heavy layers. I weighed in a t 181 which is the lowest I have weighed in without doing a douuble in about two weeks. I definitely perspired a lot. I did 40 chin ups with 88 pounds of assistance. I did 340 killers,440 crunches and 700 q's. I did a whopping 9 minutes on the plank and 800 floors.

Day 1544 A new goal get to one double a month on average.Right now I average one every 36 days.

This we take a load of doubles. However, I cannot wait to hit that number. Today we blasted with three layers a 2323 pretty neat when you consider the largest power ball payout in history was the number 23. Yep, I still remember those numbers 2,4,23.46 and 38.

Here are some more numbers 36 chin ups with 76 pounds of assistance. 300 killers,330 crunches, 430 q's. 800 floors and 6 minutes of plank. Weight 183.

Feeling  great,as today is Tuesday, time for a morning motivational talk. When was the last time you were so happy you sang instead of talked or you skipped  or danced instead of walked?

Focus today is high on the mountain top.

Day 1543 Cannot wait to workout today!

As we do our 43RD double. Got on the machine at 432am and got off at 637am a two hard cardio that burned 4571 calories.I burned 38.09 per minute. I felt awesome. I weighed in at 180.

Now it is off to the daily toil.I was so determined today to get two hours in. Now with today's double we are at 43 doubles in 1543 days that is an average of one double every 36 days. Almost one a month.

Day 1544  A new goal get to one double a month on average.Right now I average one every 36 days.

Day 1541- A good challenge. Up at 530 gym by 640 be at work by 915.

Got a good sixty minutes in before time ran out. I burned 2328 in sixty and did 35 76 pound assisted chin ups. Weight 184. I would have loved to do a double.Went to church.

Next Saturday we double down.

Day 1540 Having a good outlook makes the view very inviting.

Despite not catching on on any sleep we made today a raising the bar day. As we burned 2391 in sixty on the "new" machine and with three layers. It took a good push in the second thirty minutes to burn that number. So now the bar is set burn 2400 and we start a new.

Are we all really to some extent like an onion. Where we all reveal ourselves to one another one layer at a time?

I attempted to do a chin up with no assistance and only did one. The reason why I stopped after one was because if  was unable to do the next one I was not sure I was going to be able to get back on the step. I did do 25 with 76 pounds of assistance. Did 360 killers,480 crunches, 620 q's, 8 minutes of plank and 800 floors. Weighed in at 185. Surprising.

Day 1541- A good challenge. Up at 530 gym by 640 be at work by 915.

Day 1539 As we ready ourselves for 1550!

How neat and sweet is it to reach 1550? This weekend should pose a good challenge as we are schedule for a work call at 930am. Which would require a wakeup call at 530 am, a workout at 645am a shower and off to work by 845am.Then on Sunday The time table looks like; who knows? The gym opens at 7am I workout until 8am then I sprint to the work.

We sit and recline at 1539 with 42 doubles under our belt. We are still focused on a good 11 day run to 1550 which appears to on May  20Th. This weekend rides us hard and you know? I wouldn't have it any other way!

Today I realized I am behind on sleep as I finally went to sleep around 1045pm and woke up at 410am. That is a whopping 5 hours and 25 minutes of rest. I have been feeding my self that rest since Sunday.

I burned 2304 a poultry 38.4 calories per minute. Yesterday I did 2350 almost 39.17 per minute. I challenges the heck out of myself by using only 76 pounds of assistance on 20 chin ups. Part of me says use no assistance then see how many you do. Then every day try to do more. Set a goal of doing 20 times more then when you started and see how many you can do.

My crunches were okay but my plank was less. Killers were 330,crunches 430,q's were 530 and floors were 800 . The plank was only 3 minutes. Reason my fore arms kept sliding on the mat so I was unable to maintain the position. Not an excuse just a reason. Why did my elbows slide because I wore a sweatshirt rather than  at shirt why did I wear a t shirt rather than a sweat shirt? Because the t shirt I was wear under neath my sweat shirt was all ripped up.
I weighed in at 184.

Day 1538 We are rolling towards GREATNESS!

We roll when we have a perfectly round tire. We have balanced life when we are mentally,physically,socially and spiritually fit.When or four quadrants are balanced and or life is fulfilled in each area we are then considered a well rounded individual.

Well today, my workout went  along at a good pace and produced the short term results I was looking for. As I felt awesome during and after the workout.The long results are still on a great track also. I burn 2350 th hour as I bested yesterday by 25 calories. I gave myself less assistance(82 lbs?) and did 30 chin ups. 360 killers,440 crunches,600 q's. I was soaked! Eight minutes on the plank and 800 floor crunches. 182 for the weight. I do feel stronger.

Day 1537 We are on the road to GREATNESS.

We are back to three layers. No sweat pants though. Burned 2325! Average almost 39 a minute. Had a great workout and feel super. Super is a good feeling to know and to have. I did 60 88 pound assisted chin ups. 360 killers 450 crunches and 850 q's. Eight minutes of plank and 800 floor crunches. Weight 182.

Tuesday is the day where I am scheduled to give a short motivational talk at the daily toil. I love giving the talks and I sincerely hope that what I say finds a way to inspire anyone  who hears it.

Day 1536 We are on the road to GREATNESS.

We must keep our focus! It has been twenty eight years to the day yesterday when my Dad passed. I do remember very clearly. He had been sent home from the hospital after being there for about a week. It was a beautiful spring day. My Dad had been suffering and coughing up blood. and was clearly in tough shape. I had just finished mowing the lawn. I had been living with him all my life except for going away to school from 1975 to 1983. I was taking a rest downstairs when I heard my Mom yell. Then I knew that was it.

I suppose because May 6TH was a Sunday back in1984 and my sister was back in town yesterday and came over to my house which is not far from where my Mom and Dad lived. The emotions and the feeling just now came flooding back.

Now, today I felt good burning 2308 in 60. Doing 51 chin ups with 100 pounds of assistance,doing 360 killers, 470 crunches and 620 q's. I did do eights of plank and 800 floor crunches. My weight was 184.

We still have Memorial Day and Fathers Day to go.A 100 days is from March 21ST to July 4TH. We are right around day 41. The half was point to make it easy is Mother's Day.

Day 1537 We are in the teeth of it, they call it 100 days of he double hockey sticks.

Day 1535 Today we do a double with no fan and three layers!

DOUBLE # 42! As we honor Mariano Rivera. As we burn four thousand and six hundred and fifty calories in one hundred and twenty one minutes.That is an average of burning 38.43 calories per minute. Yesterday, on the same machine, I burned two thousand and twelve calories in sixty minutes. That is an average of burning 38.53 calories per minute. I worked hard to that as I was on somewhat of a time crunch.when I finished the 121 minutes I stretch and left. I weighed in at 180 pounds.I just finish my breakfast of oatmeal  pine apple, banana and blue berries. I quenched my monster thirst with about a quart of calcium fortified orange juice and seltzer.

Today, is a day off, next week however, I plan on working all seven days and take the test for the radio show.

Day 1534 Do we do a double?

NO! We burned 2312 in the hour wearing three layers. Had extra time to work on chin and abs. Did 70 chin ups with 100 pounds of assistance.350 killers,450 crunches and 800 q's. I did 9 minutes of down plank and 900 floor crunches.
I weighed in at 183. I really want to do a good 2 hour work out tomorrow.

Passion is such a vital part to anyone's attempts to do anything worth doing. Having a vision with passion is almost impossible to stop. Having an undeniable persistence is the way the impossible becomes the possible.Understanding how to garner that force makes people stand up and notice the person that can carry out these wonderful virtues.

Day 1533 we are now 67 days from 1600 and 73 days into the the fourth year.

Got a good beating yesterday. As I was reminded how vital sleep is to keep the ball moving. A surprisingly good challenge was waiting for me at the daily toil. I got home and showered just for the sheer refreshment. Got up at 410 am and fuzzy but got on the machine at 501 am. A little later than usually. I added one extra layer and burned 2296. Believe me, I fought for every one of them. Did 60 chin ups with 106 pounds of assistance. Went right ahead and did 400 killers,550 crunches and 750 of the q's. Did eight minutes of plank and 900 floors. Heck I felt loose. Weighed in at 183.

Day 1532 We operate with little sleep but, we forge ahead!

I love my sports teams. When one of the teams have a shot at the championship I want to see every second of it. If I did that last night I would have had to stayed up until 1215 am. As the New York Ranger won in triple over time. As it was 1120 pm was as late as I could stay up and be able to workout at 455 am.

I burn 2319 in sixty and did 55 chin ups 106 assistance. Then, 350 killers 440 crunches and 630 q's with 10 minutes of down plank. I also did 800 floor crunches and weighed in at 183.

Day 1533 we are now 67 days from 1600 and 73 days into the the fourth year.

Day 1531 Is it muscle?

With too much attention the weight went down to 184.Did an excellent 2406 as I am writing this at lunch time. I also did 53 106 pound assisted chin ups. As I reflect back to mymind set when I stated on this streak back in 2008. I do recall my desire was to burn more calories than I take in. Which was easy because I had no intention of adding any muscle to my diminishing frame. I was just overjoyed over the prospects of being able to do a sixty minute cardio workout every day.

The surprise really came when my body just starting dropping the weight. I pattern myself on eating very light as despite doing the cardio every day my appetite went way down. It was fun for me to feel younger and lighter.By the February turned into May I was pretty slim. When the Summer came I weighed about 12 or 15 pounds lighter than I do now. I stayed away from any weight training for about 13 months then I decided to feel my muscles again.

The weight came back gradually as I gained about 4 pounds as I put more exercises into my work out.

Today, I did 330 killer crunches, crunches and 810 q's . I did a great 8 minutes of plank. I did 800 floors.Writing this now makes it all seem so long ago. I weighed in at 184.

Day 1530 - WOW! What a strong number.

More number 2359 in 60 on the different tougher machine. An excellent pace. chin ups with 106 assistance=50. 340 k's 440 c's 610 q's 800 f's 8 minutes on down plank. Weighed in a t 185.
