The record stands as Wednesday September 30, 2015. Day 593 I have now done 2909 workouts in the last 2766 days

Based on the current work schedule of two days on and one day off followed by three days on and one day off. I am beginning to look at Tuesday night's as my Friday nights and Saturday nights as well, Saturday night.
On Tuesday I slept from 10:15 pm to 8:06 am then went to the gym. I got on the machine 9:35 am as day was my day off

got up and workout
Where I burned 2100 calories in the hour. Highlight of the workout? Two, burned 385 calories in the last 10 minutes. Plus, burned 41 calories in the last 1 minute of the sixty minute workout.

Stayed focused.

Burned 720 calories in the last  20 minutes.

I went from burning 666 in first 20 then 698 in next twenty then a great 750 in the last twenty minutes! Man! That is such an awesome feeling!

Body took awhile to wake up.

Totaling dragging but I would not have it any other way.
Sleeping 3 3/4 hours out of the last  42 or so hours.
Tremendous energy drives me!

The amazing thing is how in the last 20 I push so hard to finish strong.got a theory on that; after 35 to 40 minutes  the endorphins start invading the body and  the legs included get loose. Then I feel strong and ready for a big push.

Outright determination to do workout despite small window of time available.

I burned 1 less calorie than Wednesday and I ended with burning 126  calories  in the last three minutes. My goal was 2100 I needed a 40 per minute average to reach the goal. I burned 126 , a 42 average which was insane!

Which is a 38.2 calories burned a minute x 60 would be 2295 in 60 minutes!
Awesome. Felt amazing. That was truly awesome!

Different than yesterday I had energy! Burned 670 in first 20 minutes, then 710 in the next 20 and the highlight of the workout. Where I burned 760 calories in the last twenty minutes. It hasn't been that long but, I almost forgot how awesome it is to go at it that hard for an hour.

Hours Andrew, thank you  so much for getting back to us.
Our show airs from 8-10 pm on Friday Nights. It would be super  if Pat was available to speak to us live. However, another option would be for us to speak to him off air and then play a recording of the chat during the show. Andrew, at this point which is better a live chat  or a recorded chat.?

Thanks again.Got on the machine @ 4:30 pm burned 2000 calories in the hour. Highlight of the workout? Not much juice.

Maintained a good pace of burning 688 calories every 20 minutes.
The biggest challenge involved working out only 14 hours prior to the last workout.

Burning 753 calories in the final 20 minutes and  379 calories in the last 10 minutes. Ramped it up to 37.9 calories per minute.

Doing the workout immediately following working half the day then, while wearing work boots.

Check this out, what a difference some sleep makes! In the first twenty minutes I burned 690 calories, in the second twenty I burned 708 calories and in the last twenty minutes I burned, get this, 766 calories. I was jacked, when multiplied times three  that is  2298 calories in an hour. To make this sound even better, I burned 40 calories + a minute, for ten straight minutes. That is really moving! That is a record, 404 calories burned in ten minutes - Wow!
That's freak in 40.4 calories a minute and an average of 2424 calories an hour!!
Then I went home and mowed the lawn. What the? The temp outside was hot.
All that with out even taking a drink of any liquid.

Like the blog says, "I love to workout"

Burning over 2000 calories after getting 3 1/2 hours of sleep in 36 hours.

Over the 41  hours and fifteen minutes from  Friday at 3:30 am to 8:45 pm I slept 4 hours and 15 minutes. So I got so solid  9 hours and fifteen minutes of rest so this morning I started slow but  had an incredible finish. In the first forty minutes of the sixty minutes of the hard cardiovascular workout I burned 1388 calories. However, in the last 20 minutes I went on an awesome tear and burned 758 calories. A spectacular pace which carried out over an hour would have burned 2274 calories.
All total for the sixty minutes I burned 2146 calories.

As today I worked 8 hours Got on the machine at 2 pm burned 2019 calories in the hour. Highlight of the workout? Burning  over the same calories every 20 minutes of the workout.

Kicking around the thought of working out from 2:30 am to 4 a then going to work.๐ŸŽ“

Equals 8  hours. As  I worked 8 hours went home had decaffeinated green tea and

got on the machine at 2:05 pm then burned 2110 calories in the hour. Highlight of the workout? I burned a lot more in the second half than I did in the first.

As today is a day off from work.
I got on the machine at 7:05 am. Burned 2124 calories in an hour. Highlight of the workout? Burning 1455 calories in the last forty minutes. After a good rest and a sluggish  for first 20 minutes I set a good pace of burning 36 plus calories a minute in the last 40 minutes. It never ceases to amaze me how awesome  a great morning workout feels.
Going to sleep at 9:45 didn't help my energy level when I rose at 3:30am. By the time I got on the machine at 2 :10 pm after working about eight hour without a break I had a less than stellar workout. Burning 2019 calories in the hour. Yesterday I was a ball of fire. Highlight of the workout?? Finishing it with slight push.

After getting  a total of eight and a half hours I worked  11hours  and forty five minutes with no break.as today was my day off.Got on machine 6 pm
Burned 2113 calories in the hour . Highlight of the workout? Burning 1093 calories in the last 30 minutes of the sixty minute workout. Finally my legs got off the deck and showed so fight!

Sleep is a big factor towards my energy level of late. Last night I certainly indulged way more than I usually do. It didn't help operating on limited sleep to begin with.
As I slept nine and a half hours. Got to the gym at 9:30 am as today is my day off from work.
Burned 2046 calories in the hour. Highlight of the workout? Burning 1040 calories in the last thirty minutes.

After getting eight and one half hours of sleep. Up at 3:30 am  worked 7 1/2 hours no break.Got on machine at one thirty pm burned 2185 in the hour. Highlight of the workout?  A sensational workout!
In the first 5 minutes I burned 174 calories. After that it was off to the races.Burning  36.56 calories a minute! That pace equal a little below 2200 calories burned in an hour- like I said a SENSATIONAL workout!

the last twenty minutes.
Very sluggish. Perhaps I am either fighting a virus or needed more sleep than what I got in the last 24 hours.

break. None.munched on grapes, cherries and almonds between 4 minute ride to next location. Got home reported my hours had a cup of decaffeinated green tea. Got on the machine at 3 pm. Burned 2100 in the hour.
Highlight of the workout? Burning 713 calories in the last twenty minutes.
I fought like stink to get to the magical level of 2100 calories burned in an hour.
Did a good amount of walking during the 8 1/2 hours.

Up 6 am after going to sleep at 8 pm - Slept 10 hours, needed that sleep.got on the machine at 7 am. I burned 2172 calories in an hour. Highlight of the workout?

A great pace from the start and a solid finish. Burned
710 after 20 minutes
1425 after 40 minutes( 715 )
2172 after 60 minutes( 747 )

I like the workout done into twenty minute intervals.
The twenty minutes allows me to identify my pace on how many caloriesI am burning per minute which is in direct connection with how much effort I am putting into the workout at that time. My pace grew every step of the way.
35.5 calories a minute
35.75 calories a minute
37.35 calories per minute
I love to make that huge push at the end and see if can beat yesterday's pace or how much I can beat the weekly highest number.
My overall pace for sixty minutes was 36.2 calories a minute.
Every time I do the workout the goal to break 2400 in an hour that 40 a minute.

The incredible push in the last 20 minutes in spite of all fatigue I was determined to burn 2100 in the hour. That meant I had to step up my pace mightily - in the first 40 minutes I burned 1370 calories. That was a 34.25 per minute calorie burn. In an effort to burn 2108 in 60 minutes I needed to burn 730 calories at a 36.5 pace.
That's what the workout is all about. Giving it your all to hit goal.

A very very spirited effort! Started with a 160 in first 5 minutes. Then, exploded to 2022 in the next 55 minutes.
709,731, 742 in the following 20 minute intervals- phenomenal! My goal was to hit 2200. Missed by only 18. WHOA.
Interesting had a cup of decaffeinated green tea before the workout.

Legs were heavy kept a 35 per minute pace for final forty minutes.

Kept burning more calories at twenty minute interval for second workout in a row.

Burned 685 in first twenty minutes
Burned 730 in second twenty minutes
Burned 747 last twenty minutes

That's a 36+ calorie burn minute.

Burned 694 in first twenty minutes
Burned 721 in second twenty minutes
Burned 725 last twenty minutes
Faster and faster I got!
Averaged a calorie burn of 35.67 per minute- nice๐Ÿ‰
Burned 1751 calories in last fifty minutes= 35.1 calories a minute.

After going to sleep at 9:15pm Got up at 7:15 am ( 10 hours) got to the gym @ 8:30 am
Burned 2134 calories in the hour. Legs got stronger and stronger as I burned 1134 calories in the last 30 minutes a phenomenal 37.8 Per calories  burn pace - WHAT DIFFERENCE A TON OF SLEEP CAN MAKE!

After only getting 3 1/2 hour of sleep after being up 21 straight hours. No surprise there on why my energy is low.

12:30 pm as I got out at 10:40am from work.
Burned 2058 in an hour on the CYBEX. Highlight of the workout? Burning 1048 in last 30 minutes.

after  missing yesterday. As yesterday I worked for 10 hours then caught a train to the city to visit the WFAN radio station. Was on the go all day and night got up @ 3:45 am and got home at 11:05 PM. I estimate I was on feet 16 of the twenty hours I was awake on Tuesday July 21, 2015.

Today I felt the drain as I burned 1994 calories in one hours on the CYBEX ARCTRAINER.

9 hours of work and a 1 hour and a half ride home.
At the gym I burned 2040 calories in one hour.
The  dew point is at 71% - Hmm that is high.
Incredibly hot and humid but, I beat yesterday's total.

Saturday July 18 2015
after working 5 hours then made the 1 hour and forty minute drive to home. Great workout burned 2075 in sixty- highlight of the workout? Burning 1072 calories in  the last thirty minutes.

Got up at 3:45 got the gym after working 12 hours and driving home an 1 hour and a half later Got me to the gym at 8:05 pm
I then burned 2147 calories in one hour on the Cybex arc trainer.
Highlight of the workout? Burning 1106 calories in the last thirty minutes.
As the weather has turned away from the high humidity.

Did an hour on the Cybex arc trainer and burned 2108 calories. Highlight of the workout? In the last 10 minutes burned 380 calories - 38x 60 is a 2280 calorie  per hour burn pace. A very high humidity day. Current humidity 62% with no rain.
Dew point 69 %. It's indeed sticky.

In spite of working  driving for 1 hour and fifteen minutes then working 9 hours without a break.then, driving an hour and a forty minutes  I get more determined the longer it takes me to get my workout!
At this point, when I say and have been saying workout this what I am referring to.

An hour on the machine
A five minute cool down
About 300 inclined crunches
Five minutes of stretching my shoulders
A short session of Tai Qui
Stretching on the PRECOR machine
Stretching my back and groin and quad
It takes about one and a half hour all total

Back at it : Up at 3:45 am on machine at 5:30 pm  Cybex arc trainer for an hour as I burned 2124 calories.Highlight of the workout?
After starting with 1387 in first 40 minutes - 34.68 per minute average
I finished the last  20 by burning 737 calories Which got me back to beyond respectability with a  36.85 calorie per minute burn.in that 20 minutes twice I burned 42 calories per minute- which is off charts good!- that is 2520  per hour calorie pace.

It is exciting chasing a number. In a sense we are all chasing some number that represents what we did the day before.

Burned 748 calories in last  twenty minutes
36.9 per minute!

Burned 365 calories from  first 10 minutes to next 10 minutes of the work out.

Completing the workout as I worked 9 hours without a break.Got home walked Chili and fed her. Then headed to the gym.At the time I started my workout I had been awake 14 1/2 hours.

Started with a 1045 burn in first half hour. Over next 1 1/2 hours I burned 3184 calories an average of 35.3 calories per hour.
I had not done 2 hour workout in awhile. I had the day off and the fire in the belly( FITB ) so I enjoyed the double( W's).

Legs were heavy as yesterday I worked 11 1/2 hours and the gym was not open when I began and not opened when I ended work yesterday July Fourth.
Which resulted in a missed day of a hour cardio vascular workout. Although if the workout Gods would take working for 11 1/2 hours going from store to store in 50 mile radius with out a break and sustaining on a handful of almonds and a bunch grapes a suitable replacement. Then maybe just maybe it could be a justified workout. If not I understand. For Bookkeeping purposes - the numbers are the numbers.

Phenomenal !

Slow start 1007 in first 30 then a great push at the end 1073 burned in 30 = 35.76 per minute.
I just used a lot of determination to get it done!

Burning 1095 in  last thirty minutes.
I burned 1007 in first thirty then lit it up in next thirty! Felt a huge sense of desire to hit the. 2100 mark.

Day 494 I now have done 2813 workouts in 2667 days as of June 22,2015

Tooth problems has forced me the sidelines for both work and workout  for Monday
Tuesday I worked  Tuesday but elected not to workout again til Wednesday.

The record stands as of  Tuesday June 23, 2015. Day 495 2813 workouts 2668 days.

Sunday June 21, 2015 up at eight twenty in the morning on machine at ten forty five
An hour on (Cybex) (arc trainer ) back in town. Burned 2114 calories.
Highlight of the workout? Burning 1114 calories in the last thirty minutes.
What a push 754 in the last twenty minutes.

In Somerset, NJ. Burned 628 calories on level twenty  Manuel - Wore the hood for an hour. Not bad for a different machine. Area I worked out in not as equipped as PF but, did some crunches and stretched with some Tai Chi.
Sleep was confined to 915- 330 No interruptions on this night.
New steel toed shoes - I cannot tell if they are the correct size. Size 12.wide width.
New steel toed shoes - I cannot tell if they are the correct size. Size 12.wide width.

Burned  2119 calories. No hood
Great to be back. Back barking, tooth barking not as bad today.Highlight of workout?
The steady climb of the calorie burn per minute, per hour.
Burned 728 in last twenty minutes. Averaged a 36.4 calorie burn in last 20.
As  the relative humidity has dropped in the area. However, today's humidity is expected to be lower.
I am surprised that regardless of my strenuous exercising my weight has gone up. I am even more surprised regardless of my strict diet which consists of Fruits, Vegetables,Nuts( peanuts & salted almonds) brown rice, wheat wheat pasta and olive oil. Over the last three I have not had any white flour either. The other night I had vegetable fried rice. Which I understand is made with peanut oil. I will say as I get ready to start a new position. I have not been as active as I had in the past.
I hope a change in routine enables me to have more movement.

First twenty minutes  ( 675)burned 33.7 calories per minute total burn per hour
Second twenty minutes ( 705) burned 35.4 calories per minute total burn per hour 34.5
Last twenty minutes  ( 736) burned 36.8 calories per minute
Total per hour burn?
35.3 calories.
I just kept pushing towards 2100 and gained momentum during the push.

Burned more  calories in back than in front of the 60 minutes of the workout out.

Know this, as of June 8, 2015 I have now done 147 two hour workouts since the streak
began on February 23,2008. That is an average of 1.6 two hour workouts a month over the 87 months.

June 7,2015
Highlight of the workout? Did a 2040 in hour one. Finished with a 2069 calorie burn in the second hour! There is something magical about the two hour hard cardio workout.
I feel so blessed to be able to accomplish that workout. ⛪️☺️

My legs were heavy today not sure why.
I burned 1702 calories after the first 50 minutes which a burn  pace of 34.04 calories a minute. By finishing with a total burn of 60 calories in an hour my pace was 33.85 calories burn per minute.

Burned with a 370  calories from  the final 20 minutes to  the last 10 minutes. Equaling a 37 calorie burn per minute pace, which is a 2220 per hour pace. Unfortunately, I burned only 361 on the last 10 minutes. Even though I managed to burn 731 calories in the last 20 minutes I still, missed the coveted 2100 total.

Kept building on my calorie burns. 1st 20 minutes, 691 Next twenty 704 and finished with a 753 calorie burn in the last twenty minutes.  I just missed getting the magic number 2150.  As the weather remains cool and damp rainy workout.
Which as usual was capped off with incline crunches and some stretching and Tai Chi.As I fought like stink to get to 2150- just missed but I did burn 40 plus calories per burn for  three straight minutes!

In the last 2 minutes I burned 81 calories! Needed 150 in last 3 1/2 minutes. Got 140 which is a 40 per minute calorie burn.Wow!
Went from a 35.9 per minute calorie burn to a 37.0 calorie burn per minute. To reach 2190  calorie burn.
You know you have had a great workout when:
The bag you brought into the gym with dry clothes and a dry towel is much  much heavier when you leave with wet clothes from your workout.

Went from a 675 calorie burn in first 20 minutes.
To a 1384 calorie burn after 40 minutes then to a 2131 calorie burn after an hour.
My pace went from 675/20 = 33.7 calorie burn per minute.
1384/ 40= 34. Calorie burn 34.6 per minute.
2131/ 60 = Calorie burn 35.5 per minute. A 1.8 increase in calories burned per minute.
That may not sound like much of an increase but it took a great effort to pick up the pace. In the last 20 minutes I burned 746 calories that is 37.3 calories burn per minute.
Now, that is a 3.6 more calories more burned per minute. Had that pace continued I would have burned 2238 calories in the hour.

Quite the kick, was at 2067 after 59 minutes. Needed 33 in last minute to get 2100. Got 41. Which was an increase from 35 per minute to 41 calories burned per minute.
It all about the targets and whether or not you increased your quantifiable effort in the end. Then, how did you increase it? How hungry were you for that hour?
The challenge above all else is to get fired up and staying there by remaining focused.

Mothers Day 2015
As much as I abhor missing a day of working out. I must come to grips with the reality.
The gym that I am a member of for a poultry fee does not accommodate people that wish to workout early in the morning on Saturdays and Sunday's
I could have purchased my own equipment to do a workout.
So here I am at checkmate for the day.
I will use my extra 147 workouts to accommodate for today.
My body is in some duress but so be it.
Temp hits  almost 80 degrees! Again it's been a good warm stretch of weather
After waking at five forty five Saturday
morning on the ninth of May on machine at six fifty burned 2080 calories in an hour. Highlight of the workout?  Body was sore but felt better as I pursued the target of 2100.

Burned 2070 calories in one hour on the Cybex arc trainer. Decided  to pwear a Hoodie and a  t- shirt  It was 40 degrees at three thirty in the morning.Highlight of the workout? I finished at seven thirty  in the morning.

Burning 720 calories in the last twenty minutes. My aim was to get 2150 calories burned then when I realized that was close I was going like a madman to hit the 2122 mark.I just missed. It feels really  good to chase a target as hard as you can!

Today,  Easter I am scheduled to put  in sometime working, which nullifies my opportunity to use to gym because the gym is only available while I will be busy doing something else. For some crazy reason on weekends the gyms are not open til 7 am. Which flies in the face of someone's desire to workout early on a weekend.
In an effort to exercise without the use of the gym I got up at 5 am and took Chili with me for a long walk. So be it, that was my workout. It really bugs me that On days when the gym is barely available that I have not set up a much better alternative.

Arrived at the gym a ten o'clock  feeling less sick as all get out in the morning did a one hour workout and burned 2183 on a real machine! Highlight of the workout. Using the tougher machine burned 749 in last twenty minutes. Felt much better I have now taken 14 of the 20  of 500 milligrams pills  of Ceftin. I have noticed that my nose is not running as consistently, I am squeezing less and since yesterday  I had much more energy.
3/24/15 Let  me  tell  you a quick story first. Over the 39 hour period of Sunday around 6 pm to Tuesday today around 9 am I felt abnormally sluggish so last night at around 845pm I went to bed and slept for a good 12 hours. As I noted early I steadfastly went through my normal routine of doing a hard cardiovascular workout within about 24 hours of my last workout.

As I mentioned yesterday the machine I used malfunctioned at 55 minute mark of the workout, with that in mind I elected to use a different machine. I had used this machine many times before and found that the same extra usually yielded a greater calorie burn per hour. As I began my workout I kept that thought in mind and I said to myself this would a great chance to sweat a lot of the sluggishness and sick feeling out of me. My first twenty numbers were inflated as expected so I pushed extra hard to see if I could break the 2300 barrier once again. When I hit the 40 minute mark I felt good and said I can break the 2300  calorie per hour burn again. Only challenge was that I was off pace by about 2 or 3 calories. Then I decided to break the 2305 number in spite of knowing the number would be considered by my standard inflated. So I then decided let us see how much we can blow this number up by!
Shazam! After burning 1530 calories in forty minutes I broke the 800 in 20 mark by burning 808 calories in the last 20 minutes. My total calorie burn for that hour was 2338  calories which is the new highest amount of calories I have burned since I have used any Arch trainer machine in the gym. I do recall in the old gym they had some machines that some to produce larger calorie burns but I am and at this time could not be exact on how I burned.

The other day as I was walking Chili I slipped on some ice and I felt it some in my knee.. Since the last  2 weeks has been followed by about 45 seconds of plank exercise which is very difficult to do because of the pain in my shoulder caused by arthritis. My plan now is to do a 2 hour workout every other day and to do the plank on the day I do not do a little 2 hour workout. The pain  in the shoulders is immense when I attempt to do the plank. I did not do the plank today because shoulder was to stiff and sore.Agility test  ** yesterday came down to 5 steps blocks, logs, jackhammer, buckets and wheel barrel.

I'm It all starts by me getting on the Cybex arch trainer
and setting the program to manual. Then I set my weight to 400 pounds even though I weigh only 185 that provides a tough challenge because now the machine thinks I can handle more resistance. The reason I set the program to manual was because it offers a great test of stamina to keep going without any drop in resistance. I then set my time to 120 minutes. Reason I love the challenge of being able to maintain the pace. Next, the resistance was set 100% and finally the incline was set to its highest level 10 which provides a good constant  steep grade. This blog is called I love to workout. One other note. Although, I set the time for 120 minutes there is always a five minute cool down. At that time I then lower my resistance from 100% to 70%. So I actuallually do a 5 minute cool down every  time I workout. I have noticed that most people:
A- do not set the machine to manual
B- do not set their resistance above 50%
C- probably think I am crazy
So when you add in my extra 5 minutes everyday you can see that 5 x  is  x minutes which equals x more hours of workouts. However,I do not include that because I am not doing what I consider a hard cardiovascular workout during those 5 minutes of cool down.
By burning 4314 calories in 2 hours I exceeded my other high mark in a 2 hour workout.  Burned  4264 calories on February 16. Third highest.
4334  December 23 2014
Day 400 I now have done 2719 workouts in 2572 days as of March 20, 2015.
Burned 2305 calories an hour!!!
4314 November 23,2014
4264 February 16, 2015
The highest I had done prior was 4245 on November 23,2014- Wow awesome  Burned  4264 calories some effort and workout
If I had continued at 2166 for another hour I would have beat the 4314 I did on 11/23 by burning 4332 in 2 hours. That was an awesome pace and hard cardiovascular workout!
Did a one  hour hard cardiovascular workout today  1/11/15 and burned 2272 calories, phenomenal! Times two that is a 4544 calorie burn! Outstanding that is also a 38 calorie  burn a minute performance. That vastly exceeds any runs I have done of late.
