Day 1805 Back to full schedule: work out, work.

I tested myself the other day when I set the alarm and got up and then went back to bed. How lame? How lazy? How interesting? Very interesting. Prior to that I had never done that in more than five years.I had acquired the habit, routine or what ever you wish to call it of rising and moving. Since I have been put in this spot of working for no pay or not working and getting paid I have given the ole boy a break. The other day I choose to sleep more. Now, the interesting part. When the alarm went off  yesterday I got up and the thought hit after I was up. Do I go back to bed? This interesting because prior to the other day that thought never hit me. Today my body asked why are we getting up so early? I answered to workout. My body asked this early?

I did prepare for any resistance today by 1) getting up early yesterday 2) going to bed early last night. So here I am dressed, fed and ready to play.

I burned 2249 calories today in the hour and hit circuit.

Day 1804 I plan on doing a normal weekday schedule.

Yes I did it back to a 410 wake up and a before six one hour hard cardiovascular workout followed by a great circuit. I am starting to get back the flow in the circuit.

It felt fantastic to up early again and attack the machine before 5 am. I slept from 10:45 pm to 410 am. I ready and determined to have a good workout.I feel like going to the DT and make a motivational  speech but I am not due in until tomorrow. Hold me back.

Day 1803 we are charging towards five YEARS!

I challenged myself today. I wore 4 layers and 2 1/2 pound weights on each ankle. I announced that I would do a two hour and I did it. I burned 4500 calories in the two hours.

I fought extremely hard to finish my workout today. However, it is the fight that makes it so much fun.

Day 1802 No morning show, no work until Thursday.Gotta do doubles!

As the clock ticked I slept. This is my fourth day off and I arrived at the gym at 930am. I was crunched for time as I had errands to run and decided to do them all today.

I was extremely determined to burn 2410 or more calories in the hour. I burned 2405 without the weights. I tried very hard to catch up at the end but I fell short. I zipped through the circuit and eliminated the plank exercises

Day 1801 Now we start the march to 1826 and another day off the DT.

It is so easy to get excited about doing a workout. I have 4 layers on and the ankle weights. The car is warm lets play two!

A great first hour of burning 2401 in sixty followed by a burn of 2243 in next sixty minutes.

Day 1800 A milestone? Its only eighteen times my first hundred days.

I thought I would be gushing with pride today. Instead, I feel very humble.My thoughts are now camped on 1826 days which will be five years.Only 26 days from that piece of sacred ground.

Today, I fought extremely hard to burn 2400 in an hour for the second consecutive day. I wore the thermal and three other layers and had the hood over my head for the entire sixty minutes.I always seem to try to find a handicap. just something to make the challenge that much harder.I do not ever want it to be easy. I always want it to be hard never soft. The attitude is I have come too far to let up now.

I did a great circuit as my sweating did not let up.

Day 1799 Start of a 4 day break from the FT daily toil.We will decide on a double

Opted for the hour with the weights.I broke 2408 calories burned in sixty minutes for the first time in at least a month. As we did IT, with the weights on the ankles.

I also did my circuit while wear the weights.

I attacked the circuit with:

* 70 crunches incline
* 60 old style crunches
*60 new style crunches decline
*5 minutes of plank 3 ways
*34 50 lb on the ab machine.
* = all done while wearing 2 1/2 pound weights on each ankle

Day 1798 1800 is in my face.

Today, was by far, the best workout I have had in a long time.I felt the precious FLOW. I believe in life there a feeling that we all can reach when tap into the FLOW. The FLOW in my opinion is the middle ground of the highest you can reach. Similar to a rocket ship that has reached its zenith and is at its plateau. The feeling of perfection washes over oneself and a different mindset and perspective on the world ensues.

Today I burned 2372 in an hour. The most in a while.

Day 1797 Awesome number.Do we do two?

Not so fast my friend. Workout done but, truncated. Burned 2360 awesome in 60.Weight? Had a great conversation while on the machine today with Wayne. Very inspirational! Home scale needs work.Car needs oil change.Hence, no circuit training got to the repair shop at 745PM. I psyched to get back to the toil. As an family matter stopped me dead in my tracks at 3pm yesterday. What an ordeal.

Life is so interesting.Can I get an AMEN?

Day 1796 Do I do two shows?

For now, at 802 am on 1/22/13 it is on hold.How is everybody doing? Better than good and better than most.Right? Tell you a few things here and see if you agree. If you tell the facts I will learn, if you tell me the truth I will believe but if you tell me a story I will remember it forever.

I have no stories to write but I am always ready to tell one. I believe that concept whole heartily. That is why in my opinion why Jesus told us parables.

It is not the story or the parable that is important it it is the moral of the story and what the story means to us. That is where the importance lies.

As march toward the 1800 day we burn 2294 in the hour after a good six and one half hours of   sleep.

Blasted out a great workout burned 2345 without the weights. Then shoved off to studio and participated in two shows. Weighed in at 190.

Day 1794 This time a double without the weights? Nah, we go for three days with weights!

Lets recount the steps. Slept for nine hours. Put on shorts socks sneakers,t-shirt,thermal shirt,sweat shirt and a pull over sweat shirt. Then I put 2 1/2 pound weights on each ankle.Then went to the gym and got on the Cybex arc trainer and put the settings on top resistance for 121 minutes and away I went. I burned 4494 calories. Got the machine went into the locker room and took over my incredibly soaked clothesand put on dry stretched and went him. Weighed in at 185.

That was the 78TH double. My first while wearing a thermal and ankle weights.

Day 1793 We do a double with the weights!

So I put on the ankle weights and did a 2 hour cardiovascular workout and burned 4580 calories. In the first hour I burn 2308 calories. So I beat yesterday's total for sixty minutes. I now eating oranges and tangelos

I felt strong after the weighted two hours.

I worked very hard yesterday and did a double today I think my shall cool down for a few hours today.
As hockey season in the NHL is about to have its 2012-2013 season opener. Yes folks our prodigal sons have returned. Prodigal- A person who spends money in a recklessly extravagant way.
I not sure if that is a proper description but they have returned.

Decided to go with the 2 1/2 pound weights on each ankle and 4 layers including a thermal.Whew! Awesome I feel great!

Day 1791 Exactly 35 days to five years.Oh my God.

We got late but we came in with good energy. I finished strong and burned 2302 in 60. Those numbers are so cool 2302 in 60. Good password numbers,eh. The password to day is desire. Here is my daily question for today.
Self confidence. Wow, what a valuable asset to have.Especially, if we want to do something great and become some one great.Or maybe, just to be someone that we are truly proud of. Do you have self confidence? On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest, rate your self confidence. Where do you feel yourself confidence comes from? Can you build on it? How can you improve your level of self confidence?

Working out everyday is a great place to start.

Day 1790 We are less than a lent away from 5 years.Praise Jesus!

Thank you for another day. I woke to a steady snow fall and about an inch or two on the ground.I got on the machine at 504 am and in an hour I burned 2347 calories while wearing a thermal, a heavy turtleneck sweatshirt and a hoody .It felt awesome.

Day 1789 Do we start Tai Chi?

Sleep,energy the two go hand in hand.Especially when you move around as much as me. I feel so refreshed today. Praise the Lord.

I got up and was on the machine at 452 am. Burned 2308 in 60.Thats strong two days back to back of burning 2300+ in an hour.

Day 1787 Do I hunt down plastic sweat shirt? Another double?

I did NOT do a double. However, I negotiated a deal to myself. I did a 2283 calorie burn in 60 minutes while wearing 2 1/2 pound weight on each ankle. That was an awesome challenge.

My circuit is starting to take shape.

Day 1786 Business still closed. Do we do a double, with the thermal?

Whoa, a double ( 76TH) with the thermal and three other layers burned 4633 in 120.

After I  was so----oo soaked. I changed into dry clothes  and did another round of

Wow! I am embarrassed at how thirsty I am.

I feel like a dry cloth that has to absorb a wet spill. A big wet spill.

However, ladies and gents I do feel awesome and had for a good time chatting with an individual that appeared to be highly determined. I have seen her on the 5 am gym circuit and found it unusual to see her at 11 am on a Saturday. Maybe it was a serendipitous meeting but one that was refreshing and informative.

I regret not having the discipline to go to bed earlier.I know I would have burned more calories on the arc trainer if Ihad. With a good push at the conclusion of the sixty minutes I did beat yeasterday's total

Day 1784 we are climbing that mountain!

A great depiction and description of how yesterday went after an awesome beginning. Aleak under the bathroom sink, a position request rejection notification and then no heat in the house because of no oil in the tank. Great opportunity to bounce back and be excited.

Well I am excited, buoyed by a desire to compete. The challenge of today was to get up after maybe 4 and half hours of sleep.Yeah maybe I got five hours of sleep but I am not sure. One great thing is the sleep of the laborer is sweet.

I wore 4 layers of clothes for my 60 minute of cardiovascular workout today. As I slept with 3 layers on.
I burned 2260 in 60 today
I did 36 pull ups
100 incline crunches
4 minutes of plank 40 flexes of the opposite elbow on each side
40 abdominal crunches
Weight 189

Day 1783 Now we start the big push

All of a sudden I got a huge whoosh of energy. Almost like I got a new lease on life.I felt after my work out yesterday and it has carried through today. I burned the most calories in sixty minutes that I have in awhile.I feel loose and revitalized.

I have been doubling up on protein. Serving of soybeans and almonds.
Only changes in diet.Maybe using the old machines?
Despite the the reason I LOVE IT!

Day 1782 Can we say 18 days until 1800?

I have challenged myself so much. There were times when I felt totally in control weighing in at 175. Feeling in full charge of my eating and appetite. Then there were days when I felt less in control. Through it all I have persevered. Eighteen hundred days is an amazing accomplishment.Heck, 1782 days is unbelievable.

Question is why am I doing it? Why did I want to do it? What am I receiving from doing it? What have I learned? Am I making this world a better place by doing it? Since I started have I developed better relations with people? Do I feel more in touch with who I am?

These are all questions I wish to ponder and answer as the days roll by.

Today's workout: Burned 2345 in sixty felt great!I want to burn 2400 in sixty before I hit 1800.

Day 1781 here we go, 3 am up gym opens at 4 am leave for studio 510ish.

Everything went according to Hoyle. Burned 2340 in sixty and felt awesome as I worked with a thermal shirt on over a heavy sweat shirt over a hoodie. Oh yeah, was cranking prior to the show.

Day 1780 I am psyched to use the old machine! Hit me for another double.

Did another double our 75TH that means I average a 2 hour plus workout every 24 days.
That is 4 doubles in the first six days of 2013!

Today did 121 minute and 4610 calorie burn as I used the "old fashion" machine.
I found an incline sit up machine!
I am going to have to retrench on these exercises. 
I did 30 crunches.

Day 1779 A double? Why not? I got the time!

Make it 74 doubles  of 1779 attempts. That means every 24 days I have done a two hour or more hard cardiovascular work.I did all the workout exercises and kept testing to see which ones were comparable to the ones I used to do.

I did a huge 1840 calorie burn in hundred and twenty minutes.However, news flash, I found somecybex arc trainers  machines from the old gym.

Day 1778 Friday already?

That is what happens when you subtract 2 days from the work week. No with the absence of the second daily toil I will be more free to work out longer. Speaking of working out... I workout today. Duh. That is why this blog is called I love to workout



I burned 851 calories in an hour. It felt good but not as good as the other machine did.

Hooray for getting back to the 4am up shift. As I burned 870 calories in the hour and are piecing together a similar workout to the one I did for quite some time.

Day 1776- The spirit of 1776! And a day off. Another double?

A day off, a good sleep, a double, and a trip to the doctor's office.So we do or 73RD double on our 1776 on independence day. I burned 1650 in two hours and stretched then weighed in at 185. I love doing doubles. My legs feel so strong.

Now we focused in on the next 51 days which will take us to five years.Incredible. What a journey.

Day 1775 Happy New Year! a double? A triple ??

The spirit of seventy six? How about seventy five? I need a double today!
Our 72ND Double! a fabulous workout as I increased my two hour calorie from Saturday. I found a way to adjust the weight. I went once again, for two plus hours. I still not in a good pattern with a exercise circuit. It will come though. I am determined to set one up.
After I told three people about my streak of workouts.

Then,I said,  "2012 was a wimp, we are are going to totally kick 2013 's ass!" I was psyched.
Weighed in at 430 pm at 183 after a huge workout and a long fast.Ate at 10:15 pm then ate again at 515 pm. How many hours is that? Nineteen hours! It felt great just to workout hard. I feel totally refreshed. I needed that rejuvenation after yesterday's incredible day. Up at three workout at 4 am to 5 am doing a radio show from 540 am to 705 am the have breakfast leave to work at 827 am and working til 230 pm break for lunch back to work at 330 pm then out of work at 445. Then, Into another work at 530pm the work til 945. Home at 10 25 pm the eat then down until 10 15 am. as I said before- awesome!
